Name: Armaina
Gender:
Female
Species: Human
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Green Blue
Height: 5' 8 1/2"
Weight: 135 lb.

Personality: She tends to be very happy and has an optimistic look on life, through almost any situation. She regards friendship highly, and will never let a friend down, and is always willing to help. She's also very stubborn, and doesn't like to give up, unless it would prevent a friend or her pokémon from potential danger, though, her stubbornness has also caused some problems. Though, one thing that grates on her nerves is when others say she can't do something because she's a girl. Call it an ego thing, but she always goes out of her way to prove them wrong. Which is another thing she tends to do quite often (proveing people wrong that is)

Background:She grew up in, and started her journey in the orange islands. She of course, started with Blaze, then was given Empress to her, then caught Monarch and Cirrocco. But, she also ended up catching a Dratini (Ryomus) and a Lapras (Amphitrite) while battling the gyms in the Orange Islands. She also made a friend while going through the gyms in the orange islands, Samantha. They stayed together through out most of the course of the time at the orange islands, but parted when they both had beaten the gyms there. Though, they couldn't travel together in Kanto, for Samantha had already made plans to attend the pokémon academy in Kanto, so they exchanged gifts before they parted. Armaina received a Black hat with a cute picture of mew on it, and her friend, Samantha, got a little Vulpix plushy. She promised to wear the hat while going through Kanto.
After this, she went off to Kanto, to start her collection of the Kanto badges. Since she traveled to Kanto by boat, the first gym she arrived at was the Virmillian Gym, where an interesting event took place... It was raining hard, and she had her cap pulled low over her face to keep the rain out of her face. She still had the brim of the hat pulled a bit low, so for the most part it concealed her face. Before she came to Kanto, she made a goal of defeating all the gyms using the 'weaker' types against the different gyms, ie: Fire against Water, Grass against Fire ect, to make the battle more of a challenge. Well, she used her Vaporeon, Hydro, against Lt. Surge, and won.
Word of her battle spread like wildfire, and she caught people talking about an 'unknown trainer' because Lt. Surge never caught a good glimpse of her face, so no one knew who it was. As she listened, she realized they were talking about her battle, and decided to set them straight, then got a better idea, she'd use this to her advantage, and have some fun with it, and only wore her hat when battling in official gyms.
Also, while in Kanto she found the Pokémon academy where Samantha said she would attend, and by pulling a few strings, was able to enroll there as well... Though, it wasn't for long. She didn't particularly like the dress code that she had to abide by, but that wasn't the reason why she left the academy... it was because she was kicked out.. for fighting unusually.. you see, a certain particular attendee at the academy, had been making advances to her (he could probably be kicked out on account of sexual harassment, not just to her, but to a whole lot of other girls at the school) Well, one day she finally lost patients, and slugged him. Of course, the teacher were watching then, and after a whole bunch of conferences etc. She was kicked out, which she had no regrets about. No one would ever forget that punch.
One more important point about her is something that happened after she defeated all the gyms in Kanto. She had called her parents to give them the news, and a suggestion was brought up that they should make a celebration out of it. After some discussion, it was decided that her parents would come over to Viridian, and celebrate there. Well, her parents took the magnet train to Saffron City (there was a rail built to the nearest island) and that went all well... Though, upon taking the bus to reach Viridian, there was a horrible accident, and both her parents were killed in the process. Well, as one might guess, she was completely crushed by the incident, (and the fact that she felt guilty about their death nearly drove her to the edge...) and training now became more of a way to help her cope. She often reefers to her pokémon as her family, which is understandable.
She also went on to storming the Jhoto leagues gyms, and also has her own small, but decent sized island (Computer Graphic Design, Computer Programming, and Artwork pay well), to keep all her pokémon, about 260+... And still growing
